The Upgrade Audit includes :

3 hours of intervention :

  • Compatibility analysis of your currently installed modules, and a proposal for possible equivalents if these are no longer available. (Note that not all modules can have a replacement)
  • Analysis of your current core files (classes, controller, override, admin and src folders), to detect whether developments are in place. We will only analyze if porting is required on request
  • More precise analysis of the features you want to port to the new version. We won't commit to porting more than 3 hours per feature



Audit report:

  • Complete report on the various analyses to provide an estimate of the cost of the operation according to your needs. The current audit will be deducted from the estimated overall cost.
  • Quotation according to your needs.

All analyses will be carried out with the aim of upgrading your site to the latest current version of PrestaShop.

This audit is to be used within three months after purchase (3 months validity), you will receive all the instructions to activate the product after your purchase.



Intervention framework:

Following this Feasibility Audit for the version upgrade of your project, we will provide you with an estimate for an upgrade according to your needs, including :

  • Updating your store to the latest version of PrestaShop
  • A theme selected by us (according to your decision during the audit)
  • The payment module of your choice (according to your decision during the audit)



Prerequisites:

Your store's back-office must be accessible and functional (no major errors encountered), as must access to your modules. The database limit must not be reached in terms of storage capacity. You agree to transfer access to your hosting solution so that the Support team can carry out the necessary checks. For the upgrade operation after acceptance of the estimate, you will need to ensure that you provide us with:

  • parallel storage adapted to your current database (in order to retain a copy of your old database on the day of production launch)
  • the possibility of creating a sub-domain (in order to create a space dedicated to your old version, if accepted during the encryption process)
  • FTP access, the database and your store's domain name must be on the same hosting.



Pricing information

Following this analysis, a cost estimate will be sent to you if we can commit to your project. The basic upgrade package is €1099.99 excluding VAT, from which we deduct the cost of the audit and add any additional costs for development porting or module deployment. 



All our technical support offers are enhanced by using Assistance By PrestaShop, making it easier for you to take care of your store. 

Once you have purchased this offer, you will receive an email with instructions on how to activate your product with our support team, who will respond within 24 hours. Our team is available from Monday to Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Support is provided by phone in FR, ES, IT and EN and in writing in all languages.



Audit response time:

The study is carried out within one week after purchasing and opening your ticket with our Support Department.

Response time for the upgrade after validating the estimate:

The upgrade to meet your requirements will be carried out as quickly as possible, and a planning schedule will be provided. A version on a pre-production server will be sent to you within 5 working days. Allow at least two weeks after validating the estimate for the new site to be put into production. This period may change depending on your audit-related requests. It also depends on the number of files to be transferred, the data to be handled and the responsiveness of customer exchanges.



Upgrade scope:

  • Your estimate validation will be the subject of specifications, and any requests outside this scope will be billed to you.
  • Ay parts of your current site will be removed
  • Modified PrestaShop core solution
  • Specific modules
  • Specific themes
  • Older non-compatible addons modules
  • Core overload
  • The structure of the modified database.

If you want to keep FrontOffice customizations, the migration will be refused. We won't be doing any work on the FrontOffice part. If your project requires a modification to the installed theme, you'll need to contact the developer via our MarketPlace.



Shop migration procedure:

  1. Once the update diagnosis is accepted, a new PrestaShop store will be temporarily installed. Your store in production will always be accessible. Maintenance will just be required to bring the new site online.
  2. Your customer data will be migrated there
  3. Our support team will work with you to ensure that the new store meets the specifications agreed during the audit (theme installation and configuration, software tutorial, answers to your questions and optimization tips, etc.)
  4. Once you're ready to go online with your new store, the Support team will make a backup of your database and your old store on the server.
  5. Your new store will go live! Please note: After this update, the interface of your new store may differ from the previous version of PrestaShop you owned. Some of your modules and themes may no longer be compatible with this new version.
