Configure the homepage: add a banner.

The banner allows for the display of a large visual on your homepage. This element is crucial for the visual identity of your store. Discover how to configure it!

To access it: Modules > Module Manager > Banner

Why create a banner?

A banner is a fully customizable element that appears on the homepage of your store, where you can showcase images, links, and descriptions of your products. With a banner, you will be able to:

• Optimize your communication. You can create specific content according to the available languages, thereby targeting your clients based on their location.
• Promote seasonal offers. To entice your clients to make a purchase.
• Highlight an important section of your store. Your visitors will pay more attention to it and will thus focus on your catalog.
• Achieve your sales. Highlighted items are items that create a desire to purchase.

How to configure a banner?

To modify the default image banner located on your homepage, you need to configure the module entitled "Banner." This module is free and is installed with PrestaShop.

1. Go to the Modules > Module Manager page in your back office and select this module.
2. Click on the "Configure" button to open the configuration page.
3. Download the image you wish to use and set the link to the page where the visitor will arrive after clicking on the banner.

Then do not forget to click on "Save" to upload your banner!
